The great abstract expressionist painter Willem de Kooning would have been 100 years old in April. In celebration of de Kooning's centennial, Plum Ruby Review presents three contemporary artists with roots in the abstract expressionist movement which de Kooning helped to found. We believe that Tino, Herdlein and Crossen represent a fresh, new vision of abstract painting and drawing.
